Candle Lighting Ceremony & Memorial Book

During the candle lighting ceremony, the children's names will be read along with a slide presentation displaying the children's photographs and/or names. Woody Wolfe will also perform several songs. Candles, battery operated candles and complimentary parking will be provided.

Due to space limitations, this event is standing room only – each family may bring up to six guests and chairs are available only for those who cannot stand. The ceremony will be held outside, so please dress appropriately. If there is rain or snow, a modified ceremony will be held inside the Abramson Center.

Whether or not you can attend, you are invited to include your child’s photograph, written tribute and/or name in the Memorial Book.

Kindly RSVP by Oct. 1 if you want to include your child in the Memorial Book and/or you plan to attend the ceremony.

You will receive a confirmation email when your RSVP is received.

You DO NOT need to print ticket(s) to attend event.

Memorial Book and Slide Presentation

Whether or not you can attend, you are invited to include a photo, written tribute and/or your child’s name in the memorial book.

• To be included in the memorial book, your photograph, written tribute and/or child’s name must be received by Thursday, Oct. 1.
• We sincerely regret that we cannot include any photograph or written tribute received after Oct. 1 in the memorial book.
• Any photograph and/or name received after Oct. 1 but by Monday, Dec. 7, will be included in slide presentation only.

Submitting Tribute and/or Photograph

Email one written tribute and/or one digital photograph to evenstar@email.chop.edu and include child's name in subject line.

• Include child's name, date of birth, and date of death on the top of tribute and please proofread carefully.

You will receive a confirmation email when your submission is received.
